@all kofax people:

please contact me internally - I also opened a TT and received reply.

To avoid double and triple communication with our IT department we should streamline communication somehow.

Nope. New spam still comming to AC General Forum... I guess it will never stop completely, but question is how much can it decrease by beefing up the defences?

This spam is getting way out of hand. We can't have this kind of stuff on workplace computers.

Yet another amazing non-brainer:
http://forums.kofax.com:/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=

This kind of semi-covert, not obviously offensive but out-of-scope, spam seem to pop up in many forums (forums using the same forum engine..?).

This specific example can be found in exact copies in several other forums on the net. Much depending on what kind of forum it is, it may even trigger some responses in good faith.

I believe the link is the key here...

Haven't bothered to look in this case, but other links in personal profiles and signatures has triggered alarms in spyware filters. It would be a nice thing if the forum platform could provide such a filter by default and locking up the guilty authors on the spot. Not all people have decent filters on their own and may get into trouble here as they lower their guard due to the respectful forum owner and forum purpose.

Spam

http://forums.kofax.com/viewtopic.php?t=13428

Suggest that these are moved for somewhat less down-bumping in the general discussion (and increased possibility to find things later...). Not saying someone done something wrong, but it would simply be slightly more efficient and help other find answers more quickly while searching.
