minimum confidence to make field valid

minimum confidence to make field valid

Postby twildt » Thu Feb 26, 2015 7:17 am

I have a format locator setup with a standard evaluator assigned to the field containing that format locator.

The extraction results for this field is 66% which is below the 80% minimum confidence to make field valid. Yet in validation it still shows as valid...

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

That could be quite a hunt. There are a number of things that can affect this. First up is any scripting. This could be an overt setting, or it may be copying a value and not copying the confidence level.

Secondly, take a look at the rules for that field. I believe there's a check box to make a field valid if the rule passes.

Exactly. Most probably it's the check box that goes by "Validation rule makes uncertain fields valid" in any of the validation rules that is concerned by the field in question.
