Batches are locked after being exported

We have been testing scanning files in Kofax Express 3.2 in color mode and then exporting to PDF image only. Once the batch(s) are exported and Kofax Express is closed, the batches become locked after starting Express again with options to "Restore" or "Delete" the batch. Restoring does NOT fix the problem. If we click on the batch and view it before exiting, then the batch becomes unlocked and can be viewed. If not, then we have to go "Batch.BatchHeader" file for each batch and change the "Locked" and "Opened" values to FALSE. Then the batches become available for viewing in Express again!!!

Is this a bug? Or a unique case that may have to do with Windows access rights? Has anyone noticed this issue?

P.S. Express is running on Windows 10 with all Windows and Express updates installed.
