Barcode identification & Canon DR-7090

Barcode identification & Canon DR-7090

Postby » Sun Sep 24, 2017 11:32 pm

Some problem. When i'm using KC10.1 with Fujitsu scanners, barcode separation & identification works fine (confidence level > 90%, barcode made with thermo transfer printer Zebra TLP2824).
But when i'm trying to use same batch class, same images, with Canon DR-7090C scanner (without VRS) - barcode identification works only for Black&White scans. In color confidense is very bad (about 0 %, see samples below).
Canon scanned produces very briht images - black barcode lines looks like grayed, with some randomized white areas on each line (see sample 2). Fujitu scanners produce images with "strongly black" colors.

What is best practics to filter such scans, to reduce grayed artifacts?
