image controls w/o adrenaline board

I'd stay away from the Canon 9080c. I had a customer that was very unhappy with it. Lots of paper jams. Bell & Howell's have multifeed detection. Other scanners do NOT.

Be careful about the ppm. That's scanning in landscape.

Hello Raymond,

from the canon webpage :

Features

* Rapid scanning speeds of up to 90 ppm or 50 ppm in colour
* A3 scanning
* Superior scanning quality, up to 600dpi
* MultiStreamâ„¢ technology
* Double feed and simple staple detection

and

As a result, it attains speeds that reach right up to 90 ppm in black and white/greyscale mode (A4 portrait, 200 dpi) or even in colour mode (A4 portrait, 100 dpi).

thanks,
Florin

Try to find out how it detects multifeeds. Some lower end/older scanners look for pages of different length. Ultrasonic detection is the only way to go.

Does AIPE do bar code recognition?
