Scan Driver Reports Error

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is even the right forum for this, but I guess I'll try. I have a Fujitsu fi-5650C scanner connected, via USB, to a computer running Windows XP SP2. Ascent Capture 7.0 is installed and when I try to launch it (or when I try to launch vcdemo32) I get an error that says "Error 20235 - ISIS Scan Driver Reports Error, Check Scanner"

When I run the testapp in the pixtran folder I get the following error "String Not Found", it has a number in brackets, but I don't recall what it was, it was in the 4000's though.

Restarting the computer fixes all these problems, but it's not an acceptable course of action. Can anyone tell me what is on? Any and all help is very appreciated.

how often do you get the error? sounds to me more like an isis driver problem.

It happens on a daily basis. The user is usually able to scan for a couple of hours and then the error happens.

Dear Aaron,

I have the same problem. I have 5650C ( with adrenalin650 ) and sometimes coming this "ISIS error 20235" error message.

Is there a solution to solve this problem?
