Low profile 650i cards?

Low profile 650i cards?

Postby » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:11 pm

Just wondering if there are any low profile 650i cards, we got a new batch of PC's and they only have low profile slots, regular add-in cards won't fit.

Thanks,

I know for some HP products you can get an adapter that turns the slots sideways and then you can use full-height cards. I think the adapter is only $15. You might check with the PC manufacturer to see what's available.

Many sub 100 PPM scanners have gone to USB, so no card is needed.

Kofax does not manufacture a Low Profile card and will not be doing so.
Also, Kofax does not support the usage of riser boards with 650i cards.

As long as it's a factory part and not some add-on, why would it make a difference? I think our D530s came from the factory that way. Never had a problem with a 650 card in one.

You had to buy it as an option for the DC7100.
