Remote site synch issue

Hello,
a remote site is able to synch manually without any issue, but not automatically. The log shows the following error:

2/22/2016 8:21:59 AM, (4904) Error while synchronizing batch classes: (5) The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel., Central Site: ####, Station ID: ####:Id 2 (####).
2/22/2016 8:22:00 AM, (2500) The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel., Station ID:#### (####).
2/22/2016 8:22:00 AM, (102) No batches found to send: , Station ID: #### (####).

Any idea what may be the issue?

What user ID is "automatic" running under? Depending on how you imported the server certificate, it may only recognized per-user and not for the whole machine. This would mess up any https connection to your server.
