Compile before saving or running VBA validation code

If you are running the VBA code editor in A4P 3.7 or 3.8, etc., *Always* choose "Debug/Compile VBAProject" (Alt-dl) before saving or running the code. If the compile fails, fix the code and run compile again, until you get it to compile without errors. Don't save or run the project without making sure it first compiles.

If you save or run a project with code that won't compile, the project can crash under some circumstances, taking all your code with it. You won't be able to get your code restored in this case.

Your only recovery possible is from a previous backup and all changes since the last backup will be lost. -- That's not a pleasant experience.

Backup your project files (or source code exports) frequently throughout the day to be safe.
