Dynamic indexing text boxes generation.

Dynamic indexing text boxes generation.

Postby ddavydov » Thu May 15, 2014 9:03 am

We are developing a batch class that will image several types of documents, and set them with various indexing values. There are different amount and types of these values in each document class. Because of this we need to been able to dynamically add and remove (or display and high) in validation text boxes for indexing values.
What is the best way to do it?

Either write your own indexing panel or go to KTM. I don't think out-of-the-box capture will do this. There is some flexibility with the right release scripts to pull the data from the back end, but I don't know as there is any way to hijack that to do what you want.

Thank you Russell.
What do you mean by indexing pannel:
develop the OCX custom pannel as it described in Kofax Developer's Guide, and register on every user's computer
or a form within Document Validation Script
or a dll that will be referred to Document Validation Script?

The first is what I had in mind, but any of them would work.
