Workflow agent error.

Workflow agent error.

Postby » Thu Oct 23, 2014 6:36 am

We developed a workflow agent that is doing many diferent things in various batch classes. This WFA is working OK in our development and test environments.
Lately we moved all batch classes and the WFA to another environment. We also moved there all DLLs and configuration files that are needed to run the WFA.
However when we executing any of that batches, the WFA does not run. The log is saying: "429 ActiveX component can't create object "
What could be wrong there?

Do you compile your WFA on the test machine? Because that would take care of registering components/assemblies.
However, as you probably do not compile these on the production system, something is missing. Either some of the components are missing or they're not registered. You must register them with regsvr32 or regasm (for .NET assemblies).

Thank you Daniel.
We registered the WFA with regasm, but the problem is still there.

Regasm has several switches. You must use the codebase switch to make registration successful.
