KC10 .NET custom script help

KC10 .NET custom script help

Postby crobertson@datacenterinc.com » Wed Dec 21, 2011 8:59 am

I am posting this for my programer who is trying to rewrite our old SBL script into .NET

She says, "per their documentation, I’ve opened the sample project but my project won’t open because it looks like it’s missing files. There are 4 Kofax files with the project.
Kofax.CapLib4.Interop
Kofax.KHelpFinder.Interop
Kofax.SDK.CaptureInfo

Kofax.ReleaseLib.Interop

Mine can’t find the files listed in orange. I wonder if something didn’t happen on the install? "

Kofax.SDK.CaptureInfo

I have some issues with the KCEC-Text sample source code as well. But the references stated above can be fixed by going to the KCEC-Common project properties page (in VS2010), then remove the invalid references and add them again. When "Adding" these references Browse to the ..\servlib\bin directory and there you will find the files:

Kofax.CapLib4.Interop.dll
Kofax.KHelpFinder.Interop.dll
Kofax.SDK.CaptureInfo.dll

Then repeat this process for the KCEC-Text project of the same solution.

Hope this helps

Better to just load only the Export Connector project, not the entire solution. Then, make a reference to the Common.dll which should already be located in the "C:\Program Files\Kofax\ServLib\Bin" directory.
If they are going to hate you anyway for what you do, then you might as well put forth your best effort.
