Kofax Desktop 2.0 License Issue

Hi,

Our Kofax Pc died recently and we have installed Kofax on another Pc
we are unable to register the new machine to our License Key as it still says it's beeing used by the dead Pc
We Contacted Web support and they reactivated License, but they are unsure how to generate a new License Key and have redirected us to this forum
What do we need to get Kofax to work on our new machine?

Hello Eric,

Are you positive that this is the Kofax Desktop product, or is this VRS with a Desktop-level license?
The case that you referenced cites a license part number that we are currently verifying as either Kofax Desktop or VRS, although it does list as currently not activated.
For your information, the Kofax Desktop product is no longer supported by Kofax and so this is why you are seeing issues with reactivation.
We are currently working with Alex, whom this case is started with at EMEA, to decide what what can be done to resolve your current license status.
